Queenslanders can still take their boats out – but only if they are catching fish for their family to eat or “essential” travel.

SEQWATER LAKES

CLOSED – Effective Thursday 26 March 2020

Unfortunately, this means that recreational boating is off the agenda for everyone until further advised.

As boaties ourselves, we appreciate that this is hard to accept, but we also appreciate that unless we all do the responsible thing then we are potentially prolonging the duration of the restriction, not to mention putting ourselves and others at risk.

We urge you all to do the right thing with this fishing information; and stay safe.

Keep on casting, when COVID-19 is gone!
