Cruise Craft appoints Victorian dealer

CRUISE Craft has announced the appointment of respected Melbourne boat dealer Streaker Boats as the sole and exclusive dealer for the complete range of their boats.

The appointment is effective immediately and will see a solid range of Cruise Craft models on the Streaker Boats stand at the 2015 Melbourne Boat Show. Cruise Craft national sales and marketing manager Peter Benston said, “We’re delighted to welcome the Savage brothers, Leon and Paul together with their entire team, back to represent the brand in Melbourne.”

“We rate the Streaker Boats retail marine business as the very best in Melbourne, possessing the same values as those at Cruise Craft. “It’s a good fit for both businesses and in turn for our Victorian customers.”

In Melbourne and greater Victoria, Queensland-built Cruise Craft boats have always been well accepted among family boaters who appreciate the superior design and quality attributes embodied in the brand. As an authorised Yamaha outboard dealer, Streaker will be able to supply customers their new Cruise Craft with a factory-installed Yamaha engine.

This continues the strong alignment that exists between Cruise Craft and Yamaha Motor. Streaker Boats co-dealership principal Leon Savage said, “We’re looking to build on the strength of the brand and develop it further in Victoria.”

“Cruise Craft is a highly regarded brand within the industry and among discerning boaters. “The brand complements the range of Streaker fibreglass boats that we manufacture ourselves in Melbourne.” Whether boating inside the bays or off the coast of Queensland or Victoria, the sea conditions are very similar.

A long run offshore to the reef for game fishing action demands a comfortable, dry hull that has the design and construction pedigree to provide the ultimate fishing experience in absolute safety. “We’re all very excited to have them back in our showroom,” Leon said.
