Barra not the only Catch worth Weighing In

This Friday marks the start of the 2015 Clancy Corporation Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic and 3 days of family fun!

Iconic for its reputation as a ‘Big Barra’ competition organisers the Mount Isa Fish Stocking Group remind competitors that Barra aren’t the only great catch worth weighing in!

“There is six species on the list for prize winning categories, and of these six we have a mystery weight and junior and senior prize for each” said Co-Event Manager George Fortune.

“Team these with the junior and senior champion angler and lucky nomination prizes, the perpetual trophies for Heaviest Overall Barramundi and Sooty Grunter and of course the $50,000 Mount Isa Water Board Tagged Barra and simply weighing in your catch could have you in with a chance of winning some great prizes”.

Prize related species for the 2015 Clancy Corporation Lake Moondarra Classic include the kiddies favourite Archer Fish, good fighting Sooty Grunter and Longtom and Sleepy Cod, Catfish and Barramundi.
