Crumbed chicken fingers recipe

This crumbed chicken fingers recipe is an all-time favourite with children and is a quick meal to knock up on weeknights. Add a side of chips and it will be a real hit.


  • 500g chicken breast
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs


  1. Slice chicken breast into strips.
  2. Place chicken strips in plastic container with flour, remove chicken and shake off the excess flour, then coat in egg and finally breadcrumbs.
  3. Shallow fry chicken in rice bran oil until golden.
  4. Serve with your favourite salad and dress with Japanese mayonnaise.

Serves four.
