Spottie and Spanish Mackerel on down rigged slimy mackerel and garfish on 16, 18, and 20 fathom reef and rubble areas south east seaway odd wahoo and yellowfin also showing in same areas. Nice snapper still on 36s on small live baits and soft plastics with trag jew a welcome by catch.
Estuary
Best crab season ever muddies, sand crabs and prawns were a blessing over the Easter period as fish catches were a bit slow due to the excess fresh throughout the broadwater and adjoining river systems. The Pin and Seaway entrances fished well on the last of the run in with tailor, trevally and jewfish making up the bulk of the catch.
